Terms of Service

Quotes and pricing

Every project is quoted at a fixed price, agreed in writing before work begins. That figure is what you pay. If you ask for something outside the agreed scope, we will quote it separately and get your approval before starting it.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.

Payment

Project work is typically invoiced 50% at kickoff and 50% on launch, unless we have agreed a different schedule in writing. Recurring services — hosting, maintenance, and SEO — are billed monthly in advance.

Invoices are due within 14 days of issue.

Timelines

We give you a launch date at kickoff and we work to it. Timelines depend on receiving content, feedback, and approvals from you within a reasonable period. Where a delay on your side moves the date, we will tell you at the time rather than at the end.

Revisions

Revisions within the agreed scope are included — we do not run a meter on feedback. Requests that change the scope (additional pages, new features, a different direction after sign-off) are quoted separately.

Ownership and handover

On final payment, you own the website, the code we wrote for it, the content you supplied, and any logo or brand assets we produced for you. We hand over credentials and source files at launch.

We retain the right to reference completed work in our portfolio and case studies. If you would prefer we did not, tell us and we will leave it out.

Third-party components — open-source libraries, fonts, stock imagery, plugins — remain under their own licences, which we will identify at handover.

Recurring services and cancellation

Hosting, maintenance, and SEO plans are month to month with no minimum term. You can cancel any month with no penalty and no exit fee. On cancellation we provide a full backup of your site and help point DNS wherever you are moving.

What we are responsible for

We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care, and fix defects in work we delivered. We cannot guarantee specific search rankings, traffic volumes, or revenue outcomes — no one honestly can, because those depend on factors outside anyone's control, including search-engine algorithms and your market.

Our total liability in connection with any project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project.

Content you supply

You confirm that any text, images, logos, or other material you give us is yours to use, or that you have the rights required. We rely on that confirmation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
